Flâne for hotels · The city guide
Give every guest the best of Beirut, starting at your door
Two Beirutis, Maya and Karim, walk your guests through the city and beyond it, so their best days in Beirut begin and end with your hotel.

What it does for your hotel
More reasons to stay, and more to write home about
Guests who stay longer
Ten walks and seven day trips show guests how much of Beirut is left to see, and give them reasons to book another night.
Stays that end in glowing reviews
Guests judge a stay by the days they had, and Flâne fills those days with the best of the city, starting at your door.
A gift worth its weight in gold
Travellers pay $29 for the guide, and every one of your guests has it free, under your name.
Day trips booked through you
Each of the seven day trips has a button that asks your reception for a driver.
The difference
Your guests and the city, before and after Flâne
Without Flâne
- Guests see Beirut in two days and move on
- They ask reception where to go, one at a time
- Day trips are booked with whoever stands outside
- Their best stories of Beirut have nothing to do with you
With Flâne
- Ten walks and seven day trips to fill another day
- The nearest walk starts at your door
- The driver for Byblos is booked through you
- Your hotel’s name is on every walk they take
How it works
Walks, day trips and the stories of the city

The walks
The walks nearest your door come first
Each walk says how long it takes and where it goes, then the map leads guests from stop to stop while Maya and Karim tell them where to stand and what to look for.
- Ten walks through Beirut, from 1 h 15 to 2 h
- Saved before setting out, a walk plays without mobile data

Day trips
Days out, with a driver from your hotel
Seven day trips, from Byblos to the Qadisha valley, each with the drive, the best time to go and a walk to take on the spot.
- A button on every trip asks your reception for a driver
- Where to eat, once they are there

The film and the table
Five thousand years in a film, and dinner in a guide
A 14-minute film tells the city’s story over a living map, and the food guide explains 51 dishes and how to order them.
- Seven short stories on Beirut’s houses, and 18 places now gone drawn back where they stood
